Ashlee
was born in West Palm Beach, Florida with long legs for
dancing and a heart full of music. She began first with
classical ballet and piano, and then moved on to contemporary
dance and jazz. It was as a dancer that she came to know
the stage in New York City, in "Gershwin Crazy" at Lincoln
Center, off-Broadway in "In the Boom Boom Room", and others...
From the "Big Apple" she flew off to Paris where she continued
to dance and sing on stage and television. Ashlee soon
met her future, French husband and from this union a first
musical album was born, half English, half French. She
now lives in Miami, the mother of three children and has
decided to pass on her love of music and dance through
teaching. In 2003 she discovered Music Together® and found
the magic of making family music irresistible. She became
a registered Music Together® teacher that same year. In
2004 she took over as the Center Director of Miami Children's
Music Together, when the previous director, friend and
mentor Connie Bloom, moved out of state. Ashlee is thrilled
to be spreading her love of music and movement to the
children and grown-ups of Miami!
